Now, there’s no reason why you can’t be in the loop of anything office-related when you’re on the go.

Nokia introduces Mail for Exchange, a solution which delivers direct, secure access to corporate email. This solution is now being offered to Nokia smartphone users through Globe Business’ affordable Mobile Data plans.

“In this day and age, being perennially connected is vital, particularly when it is about growing your business or advancing your career in the corporate world. The Mail for Exchange solution from Nokia provides employers and employees a practical tool to stay on top of things all the time by giving them direct access to the corporate mail server with just a few clicks on their Nokia smartphones,” said Benoit Nalin, general manager of Nokia Philippines.

Mail for Exchange enables direct and secure mobile connection between smartphones and Microsoft Exchange email accounts. This push email solution is possible through the Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync® technology, which enables Nokia smartphones to directly connect to the corporate email server without the need for additional servers or complicated configurations.

Through the Mail for Exchange solution, Nokia smartphone users can also synchronize their email, calendar, contacts and to-do tasks that is consistent with Microsoft Outlook®, which means they can easily organize their schedule and provide quick response to client emails in the corporate mail format with just a few clicks on their smartphones.

Mail for Exchange likewise provides remote lookup on the corporate contact directory, facilitating faster and more convenient communication to the people that matter within your corporate circle.

Through this solution, smartphone users can also easily accept or decline meeting requests; attach, receive, view, edit and save files from emails; view their emails in HTML format; and set out-of-office messages even when they’re mobile. Mail for Exchange also supports different access points via cellular data or WLAN and provides highly secure solution and support for many Exchange 2003 SP2 and 2007 mailbox policies, including mandatory password use and remote device wipe.

Nokia’s Mail for Exchange solution is available on the Nokia E5 model. To fully benefit from this solution, Nokia and Globe Business offer affordable mobile data plans that provide smartphone users 160mb of mobile browsing for only P399 per month or unlimited mobile browsing for only P999 per month.

The Nokia Mail for Exchange solution for the Nokia Eseries handsets also provides pre-loaded Mail for Exchange Client and features easy email set-up and bulk configuration via Nokia Configuration Tool or DM.

In addition to access to corporate email and infrastructure, Nokia smartphone users can also enjoy access to maps, navigation, download apps and access other services through Ovi Store.

I think this is really a great tool especially for corporations or for those people who needs to always be connected with their professional career anytime and anywhere. Now, you don't have to worry and bring your bulky laptop just to answer emails. Now with a simple touch of your fingertips you can still run the business. Now, that's mobility at it's best.
