For non-geeks like me, they think that Science is not that fun. Some may stereotype people who love Science to be a typical person in lab gown with goggle and spend all his life looking for something crazy in his laboratory. In this evolving world, it is really hard to educate Science to kids as they have a thinking that is more of voluminous textbooks and computation to handle without realistic approach or application behind it.

I am happy though to read from a blogger's group that there's a facility constructed in my own city of residence that could help aid this issue. If we thought only the big countries could have a world-class science museum, then you can erase this already as there's science facility being opened soon..."The Mind Museum".

The Mind Museum is the first world-class science museum in the Philippines. What's promising about this museum is that it will have more than 250 interactive "minds-on" and hands-on exhibits. Sitting on its 7,595 square meters total land area at the heart of Taguig City are 5 galleries within its two levels, which are:
The Story of Universe: Its Beginning and Majesty
The Story of Earth: Its Story Across the Breadth of Time
The Story of Life: The Exuberant Varieties of Life
The Story of Atom: The Strange World of the Very Small
The Story of Technology: The Showcase of Human Integrity
I am actually thrilled of what will be the"minds-on" exhibits they have for us Filipinos on this museum. I know for sure that it will be something that could defy how many people deceive about the subject matter. I really believe that this is a good approach to help educate young kids or "young-at-hearts" teens/adults about science. I used to remember I first attended a science museum when I was in elementary and I really enjoyed it and I do hope to see more with the Mind Museum. I hope many educational institution will let their students utilize this facility and hopefully have the future Einstein's from our country someday.

I know you might be excited to see this museum but this will be completed by December. However, there will be a first exhibit testing event happening on May 26 called Mind at Works at the NBC Tent, Bonifacio Global City. You can learn more how to sign-up on this event by following this link on the mechanics. You can also try to visit the Ten Minutes, Tops! post to learn more.
I am really hoping to be able to attend the preview exhibit to know more what's in-store for us with this museum. If ever I'll be invited, I'll let you know on this blog especially my top favorite exhibits. :)
