It takes about an hour to finish all the tracks in an album, it takes about 30 minutes to finish a 5k run but how long does it take to hear a music that can blow you away to Mars? Answer: 30 seconds
For all music lovers out there, I know you might heard a new band to conquer the concert scene in the metro, 30 Seconds To Mars. This American rock band is also known with their short name 30STM. The band originated since 1998 from Los Angeles and composed of actor Jared Leto, Shannon Leto and Tomo Mimilicevic. Jared Leto appeared on some films like Fight Club, Girl, Interrupted, Panic Room, American Psycho, and My So-Called Life. Although Jared is a known celebrity, he doesn't want to highlight this for his band 30 Seconds to Mars.
Why is the band called "30 Seconds to Mars"?
I just read this interesting fact is that the name of the band was actually from a thesis that the band found over the internet written by a former Harvard professor. It is actually the title of one of the subsections of the thesis which in summary talks about the "exponential growth of technology that relates to humans, which makes us literally 30 seconds to mars. According to the band, this is also the best description of their music
