Price of Persia: The Sands of Time will be flashing in the silver screen here in the Philippines on May 27, 2010. I am really excited how a very popular game will be re-crafted to a movie. I think this is one of the biggest movie of the year with Walt Disney and Jerry Bruckheimer Films join together to present this movie. For those already curious about the movie, here's the official trailer and synopsis:

"A rogue prince (JAKE GYLLENHAAL) reluctantly joins forces with a mysterious princess (GEMMA ARTERTON) and together, they race against dark forces to safeguard an ancient dagger capable of releasing the Sands of Time—a gift from the gods that can reverse time and allow its possessor to rule the world."

I am really excited about this movie that I have created a video using the movie still pictures, hope you enjoy it:

I actually think Jake Gyllenhaal was the best choice for this movie given his physical features although there are some critics suggesting that a true Persian should have been casted for the role. I found this interesting interview with the cast of the movie and an interesting fact on the true pronunciation of Jake's surname.

I know you are now excited to watch the movie. I might actually be watching this on Friday after a long day of work. Meanwhile, if you want to win some exclusive Prince of Persia items, you may want to check Walt Disney Studio Philippines facebook page or a contest by my fellow blogger Azrael on his site.

I'll try to post my review over the weekend. :)

I have seen a blog post from a fellow blogger, When In Manila, that a massive concert will be coming this month. I can really say that this will be a big event given large set of artist that will be joining together. All roads will lead to SM Mall of Asia Concert Grounds on May 15, 2010 for sure for this "Then & Now Massive Music Festival 2010". I am really excited to see 3 artists on May 15; namely V-Factory, All-4-One and last but not the least Jojo.

Manila is really lucky to have such congregation of well known artist then ... and now. Hopefully, I will also be lucky since Deejay Vince of When In Manila is giving away 2 VIP tickets to a very lucky blogger (hopefully it will be me). I want to compose a video blog to state why I should win but unfortunately my cam is not working properly again. :( I really have no choice but just to blog about it...If ever I will win this promo, I must confess that this will be my first time to attend a concern by foreign artist. I really wanted to watch concerts but unfortunately I am either unavailable or I don't have the money to watch. Aside from watching these great set of artist, I will also be joined by Vince of When In Manila and Hannah of FlairCandy.com, which are some of my favorite bloggers, and we'll be singing along with the great hits of my favorite artist in the VIP section.

But the biggest reason why I want to watch this in VIP section, I want to see Jojo singing great songs and in close range. I so envy Vince when he did an interview with Jojo and with all the revelations. If you haven't seen it yet, see the video blog post here. It's one of the interesting interview I have seen and I really like Jojo being "real" on this interview. I was actually hoping to watch her during the last "Changing Lives" concert with Justin. Hopefully she will sing more songs on this concert though. I am really crossing fingers that I will win this contest.

For all people, who would like to have a treat this Saturday then I recommend that you watch this concert. Imagine, 9 artist in 1 concert. What more can you ask for?

For more details, please go to the website of the concert (ThenAndNowConcert.com)

If you can't remember the songs of these artists, here are some of the videos from my top 3 fave artists on this concert:

"Baby It's You" by Jojo

"I Can Love You Like That" by All-4-One

"Love Struck" by V Factory

It's already 2 years since my Lola Rosenda joined our Heavenly Father. We really miss her so much and all the things she did to make our family strong. She always ensures that we are fine and in good condition. We will never be a good person right now without the outstanding guidance given to our parents and then passed unto us. She is truly a superwoman for raising 8 children successfully and most importantly good person.

One thing that I will also miss from Lola is her supreme skills in cooking. She do not have a formal education on culinary arts but one cannot deny that every dish she makes is truly delicious. I don't think any Iron Chef can beat her own style and recipes. I always hear from my father how great my Lola is in terms of cooking and he always boast that nothing beats her dishes. I can still remember how she cooks our meals every New Year's eve at Majayjay. Our meal might be simple but she complements it with great serving of love, which makes it stands out among the rest.

My lola loves to plant as well. I can still recall that she loves planting roses and other plants with flowers. In the pictures that they sent from the US, you could see how good she is in taking care of those plants. I think my lola's name really fits her well...she is so great in taking care of plants and she is also as beautiful as a rose. :)

I think my fondest memory of lola was during the time when they last left Manila. I can still remember that she really do not want to go back to the US. However, since she is still not an american citizen that time, then she really have to go back. I remember her saying that they will go back as quickly as possible. I know that they really want to go back as well as most of us are graduating that time and it will really be a joy to see us march in flying colors. Unfortunately, she was unable to back again. Even though she was unable to join us during our momentous day, I know that she is aware that she is one of our inspiration in reaching our dreams.

I truly miss Lola and I can always remember her whenever I see other lola with their grandchildren at malls. I know she is just around always protecting us from harm and guiding us to the right direction.

We might loss a great lola but we know you just transformed into an angel to be there always by our side.

I have created the video above especially to commemorate how she touched our lives. Hope she likes it!
