I have heard great reviews about Zalora, especially their great delivery time and customer service. I had nothing yet to buy from them but with my busy schedule lately I've been thinking of trying them out and see for myself if they are really good. I heard they also offer great discounts. I hope you can let me know of what to buy.

Here are some of my picks as my first purchase with them:

If you knew me, I love shopping for button-down shirts. I find it great to wear especially mostly I'm at the office most time of the week. I saw a new brand, Hipstop, that has interesting designs. Aside from button-down the also have great hoodies. On top of it, the are also priced competitively.

I'm thinking of also buying a pair of new running shoes. I been eyeing on this Nike Free running shoes as they have this interesting bright red/orange color.

I am surprised that Zalora is also not selling clothes/shoes. I have seen my personal fave brand, Old Spice, is also available on site.

I might be adding some items on this list. What do you think should I buy? Let me know as well your experience with Zalora or with any of the products above to help me out.

Filipinos love eating food ad one of the emerging cooking style that we have right now is cooking it at Hotpot style. You might have experienced it with some buffet restaurants in the country already. This style has becoming popular because of its simplicity that any beginner chef-wannabe can start out. It is also a healthier option as compared to cooking your food through frying so one will need not to worry about gaining much pounds.

One key struggle though is where to purchase high grade ingredient to start hotpot style at home. Good thing that I was able to know about Wei Wei Cold store that offers quality product as I want to try it out.

What is Wei Wei Cold Store?
Wei Wei Cold Store, popularly referred to as Wei Wei, is one of the leading importer and distributor of frozen processed foods in the Philippines. Max's is bringing back their "Chicken-All-You-Can" promo every FRIDAY starting this July 17, 2015!

Yes, you are not dreaming the promo craze from Max's that we loved last 2010 and 2011 is back ! If you are an avid follower of my blog, then you might have known that kahitanoito loves blogging for Max's and we are very happy to share this promotion yet again (read my blog post last 2010 and 2011). I know you might be asking how to avail, so here's a quick summary:

  • What: Max's Chicken-All-You-Can Promo (Php 229)
  • When: July 17, 24, 31. August 7, 14, 2015 (6:00 pm to 10:00 pm)
  • Where: All Max's Branch's in the Philippines
  • How:
    • Max’s Quarter Chicken will be served with 1 glass of Pepsi products
    • Valid for dine in only from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM
    • Not available for takeout, delivery, bulk order and functions
    • Not valid in conjunction with any other ongoing promos and discounts
    • Chicken will be served after each piece has been consumed
    • Strictly no sharing and no leftovers
    • No reservations. First come, first serve policy
What are the differences this year?
You might be wondering what is the difference from their 2010 and 2011 promotion. Here's what I found when I compared them with my previous post.

  • Price - Last 2010 and 2011, the promo is only priced at Php 165 and Php 199 respectively. Well, I already expected it given the inflation for the past 4-5 years. At 229, it is still a great deal just imagine how much the chicken in Max's costs now.
  • Drinks - I have yet to reconfirm this but with the previous promotion you can upgrade your Pepsi drink to bottomless by adding a small amount (2010: Php 39, 2011: Php 28). I'll let you know once I have more details but as per their recent communication, they haven't inform that you can upgrade to bottomless. Personal tip, you can skip going bottomless so you can eat more chicken parts.
  • Frequency - Before, they have the promotion "daily" for the entire month. This year though they have extended it to for more than a month but it is only on a "weekly" basis. They have done it every FRIDAY this year.
  • Date - Previously their promo started as early as June but this year they started it a month later. I'm more favorable to have it this time around especially I hope there will be less storms during the upcoming Fridays so at least we can enjoy more of the promo.
  • Money coupon - Last 2011, they are giving away Php 20 money coupon for every Php 200 spent during the promotion.
Want Tips to Maximize the Promo?
I was able to summarize some of my personal tips last 2011. Here's the link to my post previously about it. If you have any tips as well, feel free to share them with us as well.

Will I try it again this year?
Over-all, amidst the changes I know a lot of Filipinos will definitely have these dates marked on their calendar and go ahead at the nearest Max's branches to avail it. Personally, I'll be availing of the promotion on the July 17. I'll update you with my experience as well.

See you at the queue!
